Tibetan Nomads Staying Put

Tibetans don’t only live in Tibet. The Tibetan people roam the mountains in central China. The Chinese government would like the nomads to move to the city, in order to preserve the natural environment as well as to develop and modernize the local economy. Tibetan nomads however, prefer herding their yaks in the remote mountains. A prominent monk came up with a businesscase that empowers the Tibetans, and allows them to maintain their nomadic culture.
